i remember my first true lesson on perspective when it comes to sculpting. sitting on the floor with carol anne in cambridge, looking at one of the newer goddesses that i had created. oh! the angles and flaws i saw when i got down on my knees and viewed it from all planes possible. how ungainly and gangly the roots! a flash on how i really had to look at things to make sure that it looked "right" from all angles. seems like an easy lesson, huh? but really, it was akin to remembering the |AHA| in that 4 year old child mind recognizing that T-H-E meant 'the'. i knew how to read.
